Dear Friend,
Change can be very difficult (that’s an understatement), but it often leads to growth and new beginnings. We never know what’s around the corner if we keep going, taking another step. Consider the words of Lao Tzu, an ancient Chinese philosopher who said,
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
Embrace change as an opportunity to embark on a transformative journey and discover your inner strength.
Really, I mean that. You are an amazing human being with great potential to do good in the world, and in fact, you are doing it now!
Step one of this journey, Please be gentle with yourself and give yourself credit for the little things you do today.
Take a moment and encourage yourself for your courage and strength in doing what you need to do.
You deserve all the love you’ve been giving to the world. Step one is to:
Be kind, be an angel to yourself and others today.
- Encourage yourself and others.
- Give yourself and others credit for “the little things”.
- Keep pouring love into your own heart every day.
Focus on small steps, small loving and kind steps, and be present with yourself and others. May your next steps be beautiful!

Today, a friendly lizard, I call her Liz, silly I know right? She greeted me from the tree in my front yard where she and her mate made a home. Its calm presence and the way it basked in the sun brought a sense of serenity and reminded me of the beauty in the natural world. I love being reminded of the magical beauty of this living planet we are part of! I really do!
