Author Jay Shetty wrote: “The Vaca Sutta, from early Buddhist scriptures, defines a well-spoken statement as one that is “spoken at the right time. It is spoken in truth. It is spoken affectionately. It is spoken beneficially. It is spoken with a mind of goodwill.”
This is what I strive to do in my day-to-day life. I come up short but I’m making progress! I’ve noticed I need to quiet the reactive habitual mind first and awaken into the moment. I’m in the process of programming my subconscious mind to naturally respond to stress by prompting a deep breath and opportunity to be in the moment. This affirmation process I’m sharing here is part of that programming process. I hope you find it to be useful, inspiring, or at least to be interesting.
Stay well and live an awakened loving life!
